The Dragons of Dallas High School are atop the Class 5A softball rankings heading into their final week of non-league play.

Up next, it’s the North Medford Spring Break Tournament scheduled for today and tomorrow. The Dragons take on Barlow in today’s opener, with Roseburg and Beaverton scheduled for Tuesday.

All three schools are in Class 6A, and the first two are ranked in that class’s top 10 by OSAA.

At 3-0, Dallas is undefeated on the season, having beaten Canby (5-2), West Salem (6-0) and McNary (2-1). The Celtics had the bases loaded in the final frame, but couldn’t get the tying score across against pitcher Kadence Morrison.

After a small break, Dallas starts Mid-Willamette Conference play by hosting West Albany Friday, April 5. The game begins at 4:30 p.m.
